As 2025 begins, we want to reflect on our first year working to turbocharge team productivity by transforming business conversations into action and collective knowledge. We started this journey as an innovation project at Envorso, a boutique consulting firm with clients like Ford, Bosch, BMW, Cummins, Bose, and NVIDIA. In September of 2024 we gained enough traction to spin out into a separate startup with audacious goals. We’re excited to build on this momentum in 2025.
In April 2024, we invited a select group of outside companies to beta-test our application. Our early beta used AI to analyze business conversations held on MS Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, and Slack Huddles to generate sharable meeting outcomes and a new stream of structured business data.
Over the year we opened Empwr.ai up to more and more users from more than 100 companies, analyzing thousands of meetings with a combined attendance of more than 40,000 participants, all of whom received AI-powered meeting outcomes with summaries, topics discussed, action items, open questions, decisions, risks, and issues.
But it’s not just about growth—it’s about the impact.
In October, we calculated that our team gained 10% of our time back while using Empwr.ai, reducing meeting frequency and size. In Q4 we 3Xed those efficiency gains by adopting Team Spaces, a new feature that automates sharing - now in private beta.
Our users realized efficiency gains similar to ours but also told us about massive impacts beyond efficiency like driving team alignment, keeping an unbiased account of client and supplier interactions, creating new valuable knowledge assets, and unlocking the benefits of team transparency.

Key Learnings from Year One
Because 2024 was our first year, nearly everything that happened was a key learning for us in some way or another. But one thing is clear: meetings are where teams connect, align and drive action - but they’re also where time and clarity can easily slip away. This understanding fueled our mission to make every interaction more productive and actionable. And user feedback has been our greatest resource.
Easy Setup and Onboarding is a Must
One of our earliest insights highlighted the importance of streamlining setup and onboarding so users could derive value quickly and collaborate with other members of their team intuitively. Many users told us that the simpler we could make the process, the faster teams could start seeing results. That feedback inspired us to focus on calendar integrations and the next 7 days view. With Empwr.ai, users don’t need complex setups - just connect your calendar and you’re ready to go.
Sharing Meeting Outcomes Drive Efficiency
Through our team’s own usage of Empwr.ai we noticed that our biggest efficiency gains derived from sharing conversation outcomes with teammates who didn’t attend the meeting in question. This led us to set up an automated way to share meeting outcome data with those who simply needed to be informed, allowing us to reduce the size of our web conference calls. This change drove massive efficiency gains and inspired a new feature set coming in 2025.
Users want Actionable Context
We learned that teams value more than just a call summary - they want clear action items and outcomes that guide next steps. This led to the development of features like personalized action item tracking and grouping recurring conversations into workstreams for better visibility. These updates have helped teams follow through on their goals more effectively.
Privacy and Security Matter
In our conversations with team leaders, we understood the importance of data security in building trust. As a result, we’ve prioritized ensuring that Empwr.ai does not store audio or video data, encrypts all data end-to-end, and gives users full ownership of that information. These features have resonated with organizations across industries.
The Power of Recurring Insights
Recurring meetings emerged as a focal point for many users, whether they’re team standups, project governance meetings, or 1:1s. By personalizing insights and outcomes over time, Empwr.ai has helped teams track progress, identify blockers, and improve communication efficiency. This feedback inspired enhancements to features like the next 7-day calendar and workstreams.
Our users have taught us so much this year, and every piece of feedback has shaped Empwr.ai into the tool it is today. We’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited to continue learning from the incredible teams using Empwr.ai.

We’re focused on empowering small talented teams to have an outsized impact by automating time-consuming but crucial overhead like composing JIRA tickets, drafting status reports, or sharing key information with stakeholders so team members can focus on the most important, valuable, and interesting work.
Deeper Integration with Your Tools and System
While we’ve already built a strong foundation with Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, and Slack, 2025 will see Empwr.ai connecting with your tools for instant messaging, task management, documentation, and your customer source of truth. These integrations will bridge the gap between meetings, knowledge, and execution.
Ambient Intelligence
Empwr.ai is a native AI company designed with large language models from inception. Over the next year you can expect machine learning and large language models to drive intelligence throughout our offering, giving our customers the benefit of an always-on intelligence working to make their team smarter and more productive.
Team Spaces: A New Way to Share Knowledge
We’re introducing Team Spaces, an “open by default” permissions option for teams that want to automatically share meeting outcomes as part of a collaborative knowledge base. Whether it’s capturing decisions from leadership meetings or action items from standups, Team Spaces will make it easier to keep everyone aligned and informed.
